A collaborative workshop on narrative storytelling, rooted in themes of Bedouin survival, deserts, and astronomy.
Included graphic design, publication design, signage, social media content, and workshop facilitation with a heritage expert.

Interactive Arabian Star Maps
In collaboration with Husaak Adventures, commissioned by RCU and Balich Wonderstudios (2024)
Animated constellations projected onto frosted acrylic for the Old Town Astronomers Workshop.
Included heritage research, star map design, motion graphics, projection setup, popup interior design, and stargazing and telescope training for four employees.
Stargazing WorkshopsIn collaboration with the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and Advancement of Sciences Publishing and Distribution Co. (ASPD)
Hands-on, bilingual workshops introducing families and students to the night sky using laser pointers, telescopes, and cultural star knowledge.
Included interactive talks, telescope setup and training, star map demonstrations, and printed learning materials rooted in Arab sky traditions.
Bilingual Stargazing Cards
Decks of pocket-sized cards with illustrations and descriptions of key stars and constellations used in Arab navigation.
Each card includes the Arabic name, translation, orientation logic, and visual mnemonic.
Interactive Celestial Projection Kits
Portable projection systems that render dynamic constellations onto tents, walls, or the desert floor.
Built using TouchDesigner and mini projectors, designed to be immersive, educational, and poetic.
Historical ScriptwritingCommissioned by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), 2021
Researched and scripted a series of narrative texts on Nabataean history for educational and experiential use in AlUla’s heritage sites.
Wrote bilingual scripts blending archaeological accuracy, storytelling, and poetry to be later used across visitor experiences.
1. Graphic Design Sample
“Sun Tracings” Poster Series (2023)
A series of eleven printed posters exploring the sun’s role as a keeper of time. Each piece draws from Arab cultural astronomy to visualize how sunlight shapes daily rhythms, seasonal shifts, and environmental awareness.
Scope included: concept development, graphic design, Arabic/English typesetting, and print production preparation.
2. Workshop Sample Stargazing Stories (2023)
A narrative storytelling workshop held in AlUla’s Old Town as part of the AlUla Library opening celebrations. Participants engaged with Arab sky lore through guided exercises and lectures.
Scope included: workshop facilitation, script development, cultural astronomy research, and interactive group storytelling.
3. Experience Sample “The Astronomer’s Workshop” (2024)
Interior design and interactive experience for a pop-up astronomy shop in AlUla’s Old Town. The space featured printed and projection-mapped star maps, custom furnishings, and ambient lighting.
Scope included: spatial design, heritage research, motion graphics, production coordination, and telescope training for staff.

Publication Design Sample “Names of the Sun” (2024)
Designed typographic systems, layout, and visual hierarchy for a 70+ page printed book. The design translated dense linguistic and environmental data into a clear, poetic spatial format.
Scope included: layout design, Arabic/English typography, indexing systems, production preparation, and print consultation.
